Saturday, after all of our running around and naps, I took the kids to a festival in our neighborhood. The Pioneer Festival is an interactive event sampling the lifestyle of the 1850s. There are antiques and rope makers, quilting lessons, live entertainment, photos with "Cowboy", the Longhorn, and the biggest attraction for the kids: a petting zoo. Blaine had a blast and Sister enjoyed a long nap in the stroller while we strolled through the festival. (The best part: it was all FREE!)
Oh, and in case you were wondering... it didn't go so well for David on Saturday. But he had fun and is looking forward to next month's tournament at Lake Fayette where he won last year and set some kind of fishing record. Go, Daddy, Go!

| The cowboy who owned "Cowboy" put Blaine on "Cowboy" and said that Blaine was a natural cowboy. |
