My first Halloween as...

Do you think this kid is tired? What a vacation...

a mermaid... a centipede... No people - - he's a LOBSTER! Blaine wore his costume ALL day on Friday. The guy at Lowe's thought he was the cutest "mermaid" and then the next woman said he was an adorable "centipede"... finally people started getting it. He was a champ all day and with the 65 degree weather, no sweat pants or sweat shirts were needed to keep him warm here in central Michigan. We also had some fun outside, as you can see from the pictures. Papa raked a bunch of leaves up and we placed Blaine in the middle of them. He was a little weirded out, but quickly became one with the leaves :) We've spent the last few days visiting family around town and eating Mmmmm goooood food. Papa has been cooking some great dinners and I have been spending very little time exercising. This is not good. Looking forward to getting back in the swing of daily life back in Austin - swim lessons, making dinner, grocery shopping, and work! I don't think Blaine will enjoy going back. He's enjoyed the attention and constant companionship this week, so I am not sure how he'll handle being with boring ol' Mom again.
