As you can see, Blaine is not finding it difficult to laugh or smile here in Michigan. We went to a pumpkin farm and petting zoo on Tuesday. Blaine was not afraid of the animals and spent most of his time staring with curiosity, I am sure wondering what the heck he was looking at. He was also fascinated with the pumpkins and couldn't take his eyes off of them. We spent yesterday bumming around Midland and Blaine decided he would go all day without a nap. He has not been sleeping well here - up at least 3 times each night and because he's sleeping at the foot of our bed in a pack n play he knows we'll get up each time he screams. Getting back on his schedule in Austin is not going to be pretty. David leaves tomorrow. He's headed to Chicago to attend the RZIM Founders Weekend (Ravi Zacharias International Ministries) and Blaine and I'll meet up with him in Chicago on Sunday on our way back to Austin.
