Excited

We have a lot to be excited about here at the Lyon home.  We are going on a mini vacation this weekend to see Mimi and Pops in the Dallas-area.  Part of the fun we'll have is staying at Great Wolf Lodge.  We've been talking to Blaine about the water park for a while now and all he knows is that it is going to be "huge."  He keeps asking us if the park is "bigger than that huge truck" or "bigger than our house" so we think he's going have the time of his life (because it is in fact bigger than both of those things).  He is also excited about having his own room (with bunk beds) to sleep in with Hanny.  He told us (repeatedly) tonight that we have to sleep in our own room and he and Hanny get to have their own room.  I don't think he realizes that Sister will be in a pack-n-play and not in one of the bunk beds but whatever makes the little man happy works for us.

Other than that, Blaine has been learning a valuable lesson: How to do the dishes!  D and I keep encouraging him to get a job - we figure this is a start :)

And Monday at school HG and her teacher made a Thanksgiving place mat.  Isn't this the cutest place mat you've ever seen?
