Keep him busy

I have discovered that Mister Man is only happy when he's (1) Busy and (2) outside. We've managed to keep a pretty busy schedule this week doing both (we've stayed busy outside - brilliant!). He goes outside every day that he's at school and today they got to paint, so he was pretty reluctant to come home with me. He and his girlfriend, Viana, were messing around (not that kind of messing around) on the play scape when I got there today.

After picking him up at school we packed up and went out to Brushy Creek park in Cedar Park. They have a large sprinkler park, 90 acres of land and a decent size lake where you can rent kayak's and canoes and oh - they have a great 3 mile running trail.

We spent the first hour playing in the water (Mister digs it), the next 30 minutes snacking and hydrating and the last thirty minutes running the trail--Mama's trying to get into "bikini" shape (well, sort of).

Blaine also said some new words today: trash (sounds like: tra-aas), rice (sounds like: hi-ice), and our favorite (though this is not new): Towel (sounds like: ta-oohh). SO CUTE! He also repeated "Nana" about 25 times today and said "Papa" several times. OMG - he's adorable!
