We took Blaine and Hannah to their first minor league baseball game on Saturday night, even after our
E.R. drama. The Round Rock Express is the farm team for the Texas Rangers. Tickets for these games are dirt cheap ($6 per person) and it's a good thing too because I didn't see one minute of the game. Blaine had other plans for the evening. They have a pretty impressive kids zone complete with playground, bounce house, rock wall, basketball courts, and a "super jump." And what do you think caught Blaine's eye? That's right, the "Super Jump"!
The "super jump" is what Blaine called the Bungee Trampoline. Basically you get strapped into a harness that is attached to bungees on hydralics. The hydralic system lifts the person up and then they can bounce really, really high on the trampoline. Blaine didn't do any flips but he did jump pretty high and the amazing thing was he waited in line for an hour to get on this thing. He's never waited that long (patiently) for anything.
Maybe if he didn't have a head wound he would have done some triple flips.
