David's Mom's fiance, Jeff (or Pops), spent some time reading to Blaine this weekend. During this particular session, they were reading about "buuuds" (birds).

Those are some funny birds Blaine, aren't they? This picture is priceless, isn't it?
Here Blaine is doing what he shouldn't do (climbing on the table). He does what he shouldn't do about 97% of the day and then throws a fit when he's doing what he should actually be doing (because it is what I want him to do). Hmmm, sounds like the definition of a toddler. The newest "no-no" is scaling the back of the couch--you know the upper part of where your back rests... that really high part of the couch. (God, help us.)Where has the time gone? It's a good thing that I've had some videos to post or I'd have every GG within the U.S. attacking me. Those have been tiding them over as they watch them again and again and again and...
Everything is going pretty well. My headaches have gotten better as well as my nausea. The Dr. said if they lasted another 2 weeks she'd order and MRI. Thank goodness they've subsided, for the most part. Work is picking up BIG time as Keith closes in on the end of his book. We'll be putting Blaine into school one more day a week so that I can work some more. I don't think he'll complain at all - he'll now have 4 days of fun, instead of just 3.
Jeff, Grammy Marie's fiance, is back in the hospital for cancer treatment. He's been in remission for some time now but the cancer is back and the Dr.'s are going to be very aggressive in treating it this time around. This blog reaches a lot of family and friends so I'd like to ask you all keep Jeff in your prayers and thoughts. Our family believes in the power of prayer and the healing presence of God. Moreover, we know that this situation is in His hands so please join us in lifting Jeff up to Him that he might feel his love and presence through this difficult time. If your church has a prayer chain or list, we'd be grateful if you'd add his name.
Papa Gay will be here in one week. We are all looking forward to his visit. Maybe he'll bring some rain with him... God knows we need it!
