31 Weeks Pregnant!

Greetings to our Family and Friends. We hope you all had a blessed Christmas. David and my belly and I went to Michigan for Christmas 2007. The flights weren't as bad as people said they would be (in terms of being uncomfortable)... but they sure weren't great! I am growing at an exponential rate now withsome lower back pain and my heartburn hasn't given up yet. We have our childbirth classes in January as well as another baby shower. Our first baby-party was in Michigan last week and the concensus is that we are having a girl that's about 8 pounds... My brother Matt thinks it will be a 50 pounder... Nice, huh? Here is some information on the baby at 31 weeks:

"This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy."

Love to everyone in the new year... it will be a great year for us - full of surprises, I am sure!
