We took our unborn on their first international trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico recently. Here are a few pictures! Upon returing the to states we went in for a routine doctor's appointment where the baby kicked or punched (hard to determine which) the heart rate monitor away three times before letting us listen. We found that baby and mother have gain a total of 12 lbs to date. The baby weighs about 1.5 pounds and measures 8.8 inches from crown to rump (or about 13.5 inches from head to heel). We are working to finalize the birth plan...reading, researching and talking to those with more experience. The baby is more active than ever and thoughout the entire day now. Recently we have been able to see their movements under the surface of Jessica's belly. We're also finishing up the major renovations at the house and looking forward to painting the baby's room a light green color this weekend. Then it's off to the stores to purchase a crib, dresser, changing table, and many other things that I have no idea how to use. I'm suspicious that the learning curve will be a sharp one.
