Mimi and Pops (and more)

It was an exciting weekend over here at our house with the arrival of Mimi and Pops on Saturday morning.  Blaine could hardly contain himself, especially after this conversation:

B: Mama, is Mimi gonna be here in our house with her body or is she gonna be here in our house on the computer?

Clearly, Blaine is used to talking to his grandparents on Skype!  He was so excited that Mimi and Pops were going to be sleeping at our house.

Lots of lovin and giggles and fun was had.  And of course the conversation is always awesome with a 3 year old around.

(Like something like this.  I'm sure Mimi could tell it better.)

B: Mimi - how did you get that earring in there?
Mimi: (takes out earring and shows Blaine the hole.)  See that hole, I put it right through there.
B: (thinking) Did God put that hole there?
Mimi: No, I did that one. (!)

Luckily he hasn't asked us if he can pierce his ears yet but prior to this conversation he has felt his ears when he looks at mine (with 5 holes total!) and wonders why he doesn't have holes in his ears.  he is already a big fan of rub-on tattoos!

Pops: HG's new found love.  It's true, she prefers the men in her life over the women.

Mister at the movie theater where we watched "Kung Fu Panda 2."  This was
Blaine's first time at the movies.  He did really well but doesn't have the whole
"quiet voices during a movie" thing down yet.

Games before the movie.

After the movie on Friday night we wrapped up our date night (me and my two fine men) at Blaine's favorite restaurant: Cracker Barrel.  (They really know how to show a lady a good time!)  What he really likes is the toy section but he also digs the breakfast items.  He managed to consume three eggs, a glass of milk, and fried apples in between all the playing he did in the store.

It was a great weekend.  End of story :)
