Hannah is now Ms. Demanding

Our sweet Angel Bug has started to show her dark side, especially at meal times.  We have learned three things over the last few weeks.

1. Don't take anything from her or she will give you serious attitude.
2. She knows what she wants to eat and if she doesn't get it, you will get serious attitude.
3. Don't do something she doesn't want you to do. You will get serious attitude.

So basically to sum it up: HG is demanding and when she doesn't get what she wants, someone is going to get an ear full.  She is especially sensitive during meal times.

This video is a pretty tame version of her at dinner.  We've been teaching her sign language for several months now but she prefers to grunt, yell, point, scream and use her favorite motion (the "come on" motion with her hand).  She'll perform this one for you here.

For dinner tonight she had potatoes, applesauce, noodles, pork loin, and strawberries.  The strawberries ended up on the floor where she was hoping she could either attract Tug long enough to hit him with some sweet potatoes or get him to eat of her hand.  This has been a fun new game for her and very messy for us!

And you'll notice she is not drinking out of a sippy cup.  She refuses.  She only wants to drink out of a cup like adults do.  She can (and likes to) chew on the end of her sippy cup but drinking must be done like a big girl.  How we'll break this, we don't know.
