Pregnant!

Hello and welcome to Jessica and David's pregnancy blog. Between being pregnant and renovating our new home we will do our best to keep the blog up to date with latest photos of the pregnancy, links and at least weekly postings.

Today 8/28/07 marks the second day of the second trimester. We've attended two Doctor's visits so far. The first to confirm that there was in fact a baby and the second to hear the baby's heartbeat and for a check up. The second visit blew the first one out of the water, hands down. Hearing the tiny little heart quickly beating was an amazing experience that made the whole thing much more real (since Jessica was not showing at the time). Jessica is showing now.

After the birth (not afterbirth) we will transition to a new blog named after our baby. Throughout the life of this blog you may notice that we refer to the baby only as "the baby". This is due to the fact that we've decided NOT to have the doctors reveal the sex of the baby until the birth, at which point we're told it is inevitable to learn the sex of the baby. Other than pictures of the increasing size of Jessica's belly there may not be many photos and new baby blog promises to be much more entertaining.

We are also going to start a blog on the renovation of the new house - the link will be posted here when it's up and running.
